Litehouse’s new line of Health Nut dressings is set to roll out at grocery retail in the second quarter of 2024.

The clean-label brand featuring healthier ingredients has become famous through its connection with Kris Jenner and her daughters, the Kardashians, who have elevated the brand on TikTok and other social media channels. 

Pure Flavor showcased its new Oronai Charentais melons, "a small, fragrant French inspired delight, renowned for their sweet, juicy, and floral-infused flesh."

The company is using five words to define the Oronai Charentais brand: delightful, experience, adventure, oasis and exotic.

"The term 'tastefully tropical' conveys a delightful blend of flavors that harmoniously combines the exotic and sweet elements, evoking a sense of tropical paradise in each bite or experience," Pure Flavor said. In using these five keywords, we can further define the vision behind what makes an Oronai Charentais Melon so special.

DelFrescoPure debuted its expanded G.R.EAT! Grab.Rinse.EAT! tomato line with red, yellow and orange grape tomatoes.

The new yellow and orange grape tomatoes will be sold in a sustainable 1-pound top seal pint. The red grape tomatoes will also be offered in 1.5-pound top seal bowl, according to DelFrescoPure.

The company said the G.R.EAT! Grab.Rinse.EAT! packaging will be 100% recyclable, “with a 26 Micron Laminated top seal, featuring a PET-to-PET structure with a high transparency film barrier with anti-fog.”

Superfresh Growers is celebrating its second season Autumn Glory apples.

"With sales growing by 28% and pounds increasing by 21% in the past 52 weeks, Autumn Glory continues to impress in the marketplace," Superfresh said. "It was one of 11 branded varieties in the top 20 apples and enjoyed higher dollar percent growth than all apples except Cosmic Crisp."

In October, the company also launched new fruit bags made from post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR), the first of its kind in the apple and pear industry.

“We’ve seen a handful of new paper packaging options for apples recently but ultimately found that they require more energy and water and have a higher carbon footprint than monofilm bags," said Tyler Weinbender, director of sustainability and packaging. "Additionally, we can minimize freight emissions by partnering with our local printers. Roughly two-thirds of our bags are made right here in Central Washington State – something I’m really proud of.”

Good Foods recently launched three new plant-based, allegen-free dips. The flavors are Dill Pickle, Nacho Cheese and Tangy BBQ. They are sold refrigerated in 8-ounce containters. 

Lipman Family Farms is now growing Sweet Brunettes, Sweet Blondes and other snacking tomatoes in Mexican greenhouses, after launching them first in Canadian greenhouses. By June, production is expected to be in full swing.

The week of the IFPA show, NatureSweet was packing to launch its new Constellation Sweet & Seedless Mini Peppers.

Lori Castillo, NatureSweet's vice president of marketing, said the peppers are a crunchy, delicious, healthier snack on-the-go. Retailers love them, Castillo said.

Calavo Growers debuted three new types of meal kits: Air Fryer Kits, Quick Skillets and Easy Bakes. All kits have everything included for the consumer's convenience.

The Quick Skillet meals can be prepared in 30 minutes or less. A Quick Skillet meal kit serves one or two people as a main dish, and it can also be used as a side dish for a larger family.

Calavo Growers also launched its new guacamole brand, Avo Fresco, featuring innovative squeeze pouches with an airlock seal that keeps the guacamole from browning without the use of preservatives.

A-ROO Company showcased its 100% recyclable Netpac produce packaging.

"Netpac is a ground-breaking packaging innovation that offers high-breathability packaging for fresh fruits, lettuce, herbs and vegetables," A-ROO said. "The patented technology uses up to 50% less plastic and reduces the volume of waste."

A-ROO said the white containers have not been used before, but still use less plastic and can be recycled.

The black containers are made from plastic that has already been used and recycled. The company said stores like Whole Foods Market and Sprouts Farmers Market like this 100% recycled option.

Mucci Farms featured its new Savorries Sweet Strawberry Tomatoes.

"Kept on-the-vine for maximum flavor and freshness, this picture-perfect variety will inspire food lovers and at-home chefs that love to entertain," Mucci Farms said. "Sweet like a strawberry, savoury like a tomato — a true foodies’ delight!"

The strawberry tomatoes are available in both top seal and clamshell packaging.

Monterey Mushrooms showcased its Sizzling Sautes Mushroom Kits, available in Fajita, Teriyaki, and Thai.

"Life is busy; these side dish solutions will make it easy for your customers to indulge in their love of food and cooking," Monterey said. "We’ve taken care of the toughest part —  slicing and spicing. All three items feature 12 ounces of sliced high vitamin D mushrooms and a 1.5-ounce sauce packet."
