ST. LOUIS — Charcuterie and specialty meat processing company Volpi Foods is expanding its presence in the meat snacks category with a new line of Salami Stix.

"We are excited to introduce our newest product, Stix, to our customers," said Lorenza Pasetti, chief executive officer of Volpi Foods. "Our focus has always been on providing high-quality, all-natural products that use only the best ingredients. Salami Stix are no exception."

The Salami Stix are available in 2-oz packages, offered in two flavors, Spicy or Original, both packed with protein.

Volpi said the new Salami Stix are made with minimal, all-natural ingredients and have 14 grams of protein per serving and no carbs.

Geared toward people on the go, the easy-to-eat meat snacks are perfect for commuters, athletes, outdoor enthusiasts or for a lunchbox, Volpi said.

Aligned with Volpi’s Raised Responsibly standards, the Salami Stix are sourced from pigs raised with the freedom to roam and raised without growth promotants.

Volpi noted that all its products are made from fresh, never frozen, meat and do not contain added nitrates or nitrites.

As of September, the new line became available across US retail locations.
