MADISON, WIS. — The International Dairy, Deli, Bakery Association (IDDBA) is hosting four webinars for the supermarket industry in April.

The first one, titled The Growing Business Case for Sustainability, is at 11 a.m. CST April 18.

“Consumers are increasingly looking for both sustainable and socially responsible products across the store, but is there a business case for sustainability?” IDDBA said. “NielsenIQ and McKinsey & Company recently released a comprehensive report, finding sustainability and social responsibility DO indeed drive business results. However, how brands and retailers approach sustainability is very nuanced, across the size, categories, and types of claims.”
