Dips and spreads specialist Fresh Cravings rolled out several new products at the show, including the company’s first foray into the sweet hummus category.
Bonduelle Fresh Americas, owner of the Ready Pac brand, introduced a new line of Bistro meal kits, which are ready to eat in just five minutes.
Avocados From Mexico celebrated its 10th anniversary with several new merchandising solutions, including Make it Better merchandisers, which encourage retailers to pair avocados with eggs, cheese, tortillas and other items to help “take tacos to the next level.” The merchandisers feature a QR code that consumers can scan that deliver coupon savings directly to a Venmo or PayPal account.
Naturipe introduced its new line of premium berries, Sweet Selections, bred for exceptional flavor and overall eating quality.
Spice World’s new Easy Onion product features chopped onions ready for cooking. Each jar contains three whole onions.
Beginning in January, Wonderful’s new basketball-themed Halos displays will be available for retailers. Peak marketing will be aimed at March Madness, during the season’s key spring selling period for Halos.
¡Yo Quiero!’s new line of Avocado & Egg spreads taps into the avocado toast craze, and in particular surging demand for avocado-and-egg combinations. The product is currently available in Costcos in the Southeast and will roll out to other Costcos and to traditional retailers beginning in January.
Del Monte’s new Joyba Bubble Tea features gel juice capsules, not the typical tapioca in boba teas. Out on a trial basis now, it is scheduled to be widely available by March.
Bako Sweet’s new sweet potato displays will be in stores by the winter holidays. The displays come in orange for conventional, green for organic sweet potatoes. The slogan “Sweeten your everyday” emphasizes Bako Sweet’s to growing sweet potato consumption not only year-round, but also for different dayparts — even breakfast. Bako Sweet also introduced a new mesh bag that’s tan in color, which gives it more of a farmer’s market feel, according to the company.
