PLEASANT PRAIRIE, WIS. — Better-for-you dip and spread brand Good Foods has launched Dill Pickle Chip Dip.

The product, which features dill and Dijon mustard flavor notes, is formulated free from the major nine allergens to provide an inclusive dip option for sharing occasions. The pickle offering marks the first launch in Good Foods’ chip-inspired dip line, and the flavor was specifically chosen in response to Yelp research that found a 55% increase in consumer searches for dill pickle-flavored foods, according to the company.

“We are always excited to harness our technology to make fresh, delicious food more accessible,” said Joyce Longfield, principal of HPP applications for Good Foods. “While most dips on the market today contain a major allergen such as soy, dairy and sesame, our Dill Pickle Chip Dip is a uniquely inclusive option.”

Good Foods Dill Pickle Chip Dip is now available in 8-oz containers at Target stores nationwide, with a suggested retail price of $4.49.

“Even if someone doesn’t personally have a food allergy, dietary restriction or sensitivity, it’s very likely that they have a family member, friend or co-worker who does,” said Shannon Maher, chief marketing officer for Good Foods. “This new product (and soon to be full line of products) takes the guesswork out of finding allergen-friendly yet tasty options for your next occasion, whether it’s a game day gathering, potluck or school event.”
