ANAHEIM, CALIF. — Sustainable fresh greens and herbs grower Local Bounti attended the International Dairy Deli Bakery Association (IDDBA) show June 4-6, showcasing two new varieties of grab-and-go salad kits.

In Q4 of 2022, the company launched its first two grab-and-go kits, Modern Greek and Poppy Power, after seeing more and more consumers asking for sustainable and healthy options in the convenience category.

Local Bounti said it is now doing something a lot of indoor growers don’t attempt — incorporating animal protein.

The brand’s two new salad kits, Memphis Style BBQ Chicken and Artisanal Chicken Caesar, both include antibiotic-free white chicken meat.

  • Fresh corn and black bean salsa

The Local Bounti Artisanal Chicken Caesar Grab & Go Salad Kits feature:

  • Romano Caesar Dressing
  • Local Bounti Romaine Crisp
  • Grilled antibiotic-free white chicken meat
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Savory croutons
  • Fresh lemon slice
  • 19 grams of protein

The first orders of the new salad kits will be rolling out at the end of June 2023 in the Pacific Northwest.
