Fresco y Mas opened its newest location on Wednesday, a Lauderhill, Florida location that places a strong emphasis on products targeting Caribbean customers.

While the store also carries the traditional Hispanic offerings for which Fresco y Mas is known, it also carries an expanded variety of specialty cut meats like goat an oxtail, islander products like jackfruit and root vegetables, and wide selection of Caribbean seasonings, spices snacks and beverages. The store also includes a hot food section offering popular prepared Caribbean foods.

An all-new cafe with expanded seating areas will serve Caribbean and Hispanic breakfast items like croquettes, Jamaican patties, pastries, drinks and hot and cold sandwiches. The Cocina offers daily specials of prepared foods including jerk chicken, goat stew and Caribbean rice, all made from scratch.

Expanded seafood offerings include a fresh assortment of crab and whole fish, while the new bakery department includes an expanded selection of locally made baked goods like flan, custom tres leches cakes and more.
