Discount grocery retailer Aldi is acquiring approximately 400 Winn-Dixie and Harveys Supermarkets in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana and Mississippi from Southeastern Grocers Inc.

Southeastern Grocers Inc., parent company of grocery chains Harveys Supermarket, Fresco y Más and Winn-Dixie, has launched its new private label brand Know & Love.

Southeastern Grocers Inc. (SEG) has utilized its SEG Gives Foundation to provide youths ages 17 and younger with ‘Student Summer Lunch Pack’ meal boxes for only $2 in all Fresco y Más, Harveys Supermarket and Winn-Dixie grocery store locations through Labor Day.
