ORLANDO, FLA. — Fresh Express, a Chiquita subsidiary, is widening its ready-to-eat, value added salad portfolio with four new products.

Developed in response to consumer interest in global flavors and cuisine, the launch features a standalone salad kit and three additions to Fresh Express’ Chopped Salad Kits line.

Varieties include:

  • French Blue Cheese — a spring mix with baby spinach, red cabbage and aromatic blue cheese.
  • French Bistro Chopped — a combination of iceberg and leafy green lettuce, shredded carrots and red cabbage and honey Dijon dressing.
  • Twisted Caesar Enchilada Chopped — a green leaf and iceberg lettuce blend with chili lime tortilla crisps, sweet corn kernels, a Mexican cheese blend and green enchilada Caesar dressing.
  • Smokehouse Chopped — a barbecue-inspired mix of shredded smoked gouda, smoked bacon dressing, red cabbage and leafy and iceberg lettuce.
