Walmart is testing a robot for help with prepared foods tasks, according to a report by Yahoo Finance.

The robot, named Flippy, is developed by Miso Robotics. It can grill 150 burger patties an hour and is being viewed by Walmart as an autonomous way to fry foods in its delis. Flippy can move foods into the correct fryer and remove them from the hot oil when they are done.

The robots, which cost between $60,000 and $100,000, began full-day shifts at CaliBurger in June and started frying chicken tenders at Dodger Stadium in September.

Flippy has OSHA-compliant laser sensors to allow staff to collaborate with it and also has 3D and thermal scanners.
