ROSE HILL, NC. – Multiple executive and operation changes were announced by the House of Raeford Farms on Aug. 21.

The company promoted Chan Windham to vice president of sales, where he will oversee operations of the ready-to-cook, cooked products and international divisions. Windham has worked at the House of Raeford for almost 30 years.

He started as assistant sales manager at the House of Raeford’s West Columbia, South Carolina complex in 1995. He then moved to the Greenville, SC plant as sales manager and recently served as director of commodity sales. 

Another new addition is Marty Gautreau, who was named operations manager after four years with House of Raeford’s Mocksville, NC, further processing operation as general manager. He previously served three years with Brakebush Brothers and worked at Sanderson Farms. 

Steven Bonasia was also named director of national account sales. Bonasia brings 18 years of experience poultry sales and marketing. His most recent job was in marketing with Wayne-Sanderson Farms.

The company also announced that three managers would be retiring.

Chuck Kendrew plans to retire as complex manager in Forest Park, Ga. He worked for the company for 23 years and was in his current position since 2014.  

Other retirements include Terrell McElheney, director of national accounts and Phil Smith, director of sales. McElheney has worked in the chicken business for 46 years. Smith worked in poultry sales for more than 47 years and joined Filet of Chicken in 2001.

Patrick Pridgen will take over for Kendrew as complex manager. He spent more than 20 years in operations, sales and purchasing capacities.
