MADISON, WIS. – The Meat Science and Animal Biologics Discovery (MSABD) program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s College of Agricultural and Life Sciences recently announced it will host a Meat Snacks Short Course from Feb. 7-9.

The course will look at how companies and people can understand meat snacks production focusing on jerky, bars and snack sticks. 

Attendees will learn about the science, safety and production of meat snack products, including jerky, sticks and bars from meat production and science experts.

Laboratory demonstrations will be held at the university’s new Discovery building on the Wisconsin campus. 

The registration fee for the course is $1,200 per person.
