IRVINE, CALIF. — After 50 years of exhibiting at the PMA convention, the California Avocado Commission (CAC) is wrapping up preparation for this year’s inaugural Global Produce & Floral Show hosted by the International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA).

CAC will be exhibiting in booth #2343 Oct. 28-29 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

“We are excited to greet California avocado customers and colleagues in person and very pleased that the California Avocado Commission’s new President, Jeff Oberman, is on board with us in time for the inaugural show,” said Jan DeLyser, CAC’s vice president of marketing.

CAC will be sharing information on the 2023 avocado season, expecting the peak to be in the spring and summer.

“The commission has new data to share from the 2022 California Avocado Tracking Study and will show that ‘the best avocados have California in them’ advertising support encourages consumer demand,” DeLyser said.
