Niman Ranch, a specialist in sustainable and humane meat production, is introducing  a new sliced deli ham product.

The 6 oz packs will feature pork raised with no antibiotics and will come in three flavors: Black Forest, Applewood Smoked and Honey. Product is expected to be on retail shelves in April.

Ham joins corned beef, pastrami, roast beef and charcuterie in Niman Ranch’s lineup of pre-sliced deli meats.

“I’m thrilled to at long last have Niman Ranch offer this convenient pre-sliced option for eaters across the country,” says Drew Calvert, the company’s vice president of innovation. “For years, Niman Ranch fans have been asking for our delicious ham to come pre-sliced, but it took time to perfect the recipe and flavors and also to grow our farmer network to ensure we have enough pork to meet demand.”

To promote its sliced ham and other sliced deli meat products, Niman Ranch will feature them throughout the year in a series of activations, kicking off with a “Brunch Hard” blitz and followed by other seasonal events, including bridal shower season and back to school.
