A new store brand line from retailer cooperative ShopRite features products from around the world.

The ShopRite Trading Company brand focuses on premium, artisanal foods inspired by Asian, Indian, Greek and Latin cuisines. Products include Arugula Wood-Fired Crust Pizza and a Cranberry Panettone specialty dessert.

“We sent our ShopRite experts around the world in search of the very best ingredients and finest products,” says ShopRite spokeswoman Karen Meleta. “The ShopRite Trading Company brand captures those culinary adventures with authentic products and recipes that bring the best of the world’s cuisines right to your home.”

As part of the launch, some products that were previously marketed under the ShopRite Imported, ShopRite Special Edition and Siempre Autentico private label brands will be converted to the ShopRite Trading Company brand.

The new line joins ShopRite’s other popular private labels, such as its award-winning Wholesome Pantry brand, an organic and clean ingredient product line launched in 2016. ShopRite has been selling products branded under its signature ShopRite label since the mid-1950s.
 
ShopRite’s 48 affiliates operate more than 296 stores on the East Coast.  Keasbey, New Jersey-based Wakefern Food Corp. is ShopRite’s parent company.
