CINCINNATI — Retail giant Kroger is getting into the foodservice business.

Kroger Restaurant Supply allows business owners to streamline the ordering process for their foodservice business by offering next-day delivery of wholesale orders at consistent and affordable pricing, according to the company.

The service will initially be available in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area.

“Our wide-range of product assortment can be purchased at the per-piece level or bulk case pricing, subject to availability. [It’s] intended to support business owners and restaurants that need reliable service and affordable goods to successfully operate.”

The service’s non-fluctuating price structure and next-day delivery of product allows for smaller, more frequent orders that create flexibility that operators “won't find with other comparable food suppliers,” according to Kroger.
