SPRINGDALE, ARK. — Jimmy Dean, a Tyson Foods Inc. brand, announced it would start offering new Breakfast Nuggets and Skillets.

“We know it's important to people to have a variety of breakfast options in order to keep mornings delicious and fun," said Scott Glenn, senior director of marketing, Jimmy Dean brand. "We believe breakfast helps people have a great start to their day, whether on-the-go with our bite-sized Breakfast Nuggets, or around a kitchen table enjoying the comforting flavors of a Skillet."

Jimmy Dean Breakfast Nuggets feature seasoned Jimmy Dean Meats, eggs and cheese that are bundled into a crispy bread coating. Each serving features 11 grams of protein. Breakfast nuggets are available in two varieties; Sausage, Egg & Cheese, and Chicken Sausage, Egg & Cheese.

In the prepackaged Jimmy Dean Skillet, customers are provided with seasoned meats, vegetables and cheese. After adding six eggs, the Skillets provide 13-14 grams of protein per serving. Jimmy Dean is offering Meat Lovers and Sausage varieties.

Also, Jimmy Dean Delights brand will begin selling the Turkey Sausage, Sweet Potato and Kale Skillet. The item includes real, seasoned vegetables, a three-cheese blend and Jimmy Dean All Natural Turkey Sausage. The product contains 13 grams of protein when prepared with six eggs.

Lastly Jimmy Dean Delights plans to start selling a Plant-Based Patty & Frittata Sandwich in April. The item features a vegetable and grain patty made of soy protein, black beans, brown rice, quinoa and egg white topped with a spinach and egg white frittata and American cheese, all inside an English muffin. It provides 15 grams of protein and 280 calories per serving.
