Aryzta North America’s new frozen bread line is designed for retail instore bakeries and other customers looking to provide a “freshly baked instore” experience.
The line expands the offerings from Aryzta’s Ancaster, Ontario, Canada, facility, which produces product under the Oakrun Farm Bakery® and Otis Spunkmeyer® brands and for private label.
The facility is capable of producing large loaves as well as small rolls and buns for use in the new program.
Under the program, frozen dough is shipped to retail grocers and foodservice accounts, where it is freshly baked instore. While the new line will initially supply customers in Canada, the capacity increase will enable Aryzta to expand supply and meet customer needs throughout North America.
