The milling arm of French co-op Vivescia — and a sister company of instore bakery leader Delifrance S.A. — has begun shipping its products to the U.S.

Grands Moulin de Paris’s line of flours, mixes and improvers have received rave reviews in the U.S. so far, says Alexandre Mahou of Overseas Food Trading, the marketing partner of Grands Moulin, Vivescia and Delifrance in the U.S.

“We are still benchmarking the different market, and have started to ship products mostly on the East Coast, with great responses from our users,” Mahou says.

Delifrance is a growers’ cooperative based in Ivy-sur-Seine Cedex, France, that has also become one of the top-volume exporters of frozen baked goods sold in grocery instore bakeries in the U.S. — a market the company has been supplying for more than a decade.
