Midwest retailer Hy-Vee is gearing up to take on the Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota, market in a big way.
According to the St. Paul Pioneer Press, Hy-Vee is on track to have 12 locations in the metro by the end of the year.
The Iowa-based retailer first entered the city's market in 2015 and quickly added eight more locations.
The report also notes that Hy-Vee is in talks to begin work on an 85,000-square-foot location in Blaine, a northern suburb of Minneapolis, and has expressed interest in sites in Maple Grove and Farmington.
