Cheesemaker Vermont Creamery won seven awards at the World Cheese Awards Nov. 11 in London.

The highlight of the show for Websterville, Vermont-based Vermont Creamery was a Super Gold award for its Cremont cheese. The World Cheese Awards, now in its 30th year, is the largest international cheese competition in the world.

“It is a tremendous honor to be recognized on the world state,” says Adeline Druart, Vermont Creamery’s president. “These accolades reflect the rigor, diligence and passion of our cheesemakers and are a testament to the dedication and talent of our entire team.”

Vermont Creamery was one of only six American cheesemakers to win a Super Gold award at this year’s show. In addition to the Super Gold, Vermont Creamery won a gold medal for its Coupole, a silver for its Bijou and bronzes for its Bonne Bouche, Crème Fraiche, fresh herb goat cheese and vanilla crème fraiche.
