California grocer Raley’s has retooled its prepared meal offerings.

West Sacramento, California-based Raley’s expanded Ready-To-Go program will feature 32 different meals and be sold out of grab-and-go displays in stores’ deli departments. The revamped Ready-To-Go also will include new sizes and trays that can be heated in microwaves or conventional ovens. Ready-To-Go was launched in 2010.

“Our customers are in for a real treat with Raley’s new Ready-To-Go meals,” says Keith Knopf, Raley’s president and chief operating officer. “We understand the importance of convenient, healthy food options at a value and believe our customers will enjoy the new meals, made with quality ingredients that taste great.”

Products in the new line come in three sizes ranging in price from $3.99 to $16.99:

  • Mini. Fifteen offerings ranging from 6 to 11 ounces and including scrambles, sandwiches, burritos and other breakfast offerings;
  • Entrée. Twelve offerings ranging from 8 to 16 ounces, designed to serve one or two people for lunch or dinner; and
  • Family. Five offerings ranging from 48 to 54 ounces, 50 percent larger than the previous version and suitable for a family of four to six.

Raley’s operates 123 stores under the Raley’s, Bel Air, Nob Hill, Food Source and Murieta banners.
