Deli turkey breast is one of the top two Whole Foods Market items sold at amazon.com.

Amazon, whose purchase of Whole Foods became official in August, had sold about $1.6 million of Whole Foods 365 Everyday Value items through late September, and deli turkey and coconut water were the biggest sellers, according to a story in the Wall Street Journal.

Amazon sold $500,000 worth of Whole Foods products in the first week it offered them, according to the story. Sales fell to about $300,000 each of the following two weeks, but rebounded when low stock levels were replenished, according to an analysis by One Click Retail cited in the story.

By category, sales of snacks and candy were highest, followed by frozen fruit and vegetables. Condiments and health and beauty items had the lowest share of sales.
