SIOUX CITY, IOWA – Seaboard Triumph Foods (STF) hired James Profera as the company’s new director of Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA).
Profera joins the company from Tyson Fresh Meats Inc., with more than 15 years of experience in FSQA. He is a Siouxland local from South Sioux City, Neb.
“I am excited to join STF because of the company-wide culture of innovation,” Profera said. “With so much automation and technology intertwined with the processes, the ability to pivot and try new things is endless.”
Sioux City-based STF is a joint venture between Seaboard Foods, based in Merriam, Kan. and Triumph Foods, St. Joseph, Mo. STF produces Prairie Fresh pork products and employs more than 2,500 Siouxland residents.
