WASHINGTON, D.C. — The North American Meat Institute (NAMI) is hosting a webinar, “Building Consumer Trust through Industry Action,” at 1 p.m. EST on May 24.
The session will explain how supply chain partners are continuously improving to meet consumer and customer expectations, including transparent and comprehensive communications, according to NAMI.
“Learn how meat companies and retailers are aligning on sustainability initiatives, working to accelerate progress toward global sustainable development goals, and amplifying our voices through the groundbreaking sector-wide Protein PACT for the People, Animals, and Climate of Tomorrow.”
Speakers include Eric Mittenthal, chief strategy officer for NAMI; Tim Faveri, vice president of sustainability and shared value for Maple Leaf Foods; and Melissa San Miguel, head of Americas and president of international business for Red Flag, Government Counselors (IBC).
