GREELEY, COLO. – Pilgrim’s Pride Corp. has named Matthew Galvanoni global chief financial officer of the company, effective March 15. He brings more than 26 years of finance and accounting experience to his new role. He will report to Fabio Sandri, president and global chief executive officer.

Mr. Galvanoni joins the poultry processing company from Ingredion, Inc., where he was vice president of finance since 2016. While at Ingredion, Mr. Galvanoni managed all financial-related responsibilities for the $4 billion North American division of the global manufacturing company. He joined Ingredion in 2012, serving in the role of global corporate controller and chief accounting officer, where he managed the company’s accounting-related and external financial reporting responsibilities.

Mr. Galvanoni started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in 1994 and held several financial leadership positions at Exelon Corp., where he most recently was assistant corporate controller.
