SURREY, CANADA – Apex Motion Control and Unifiller have collaborated to develop the Deco-Bot, a solution capable of decorating cakes and cupcakes instantly.  

The Deco-Bot can write, draw, drizzle, and decorate cakes with roses, and can finish cupcakes with swirls, rosettes, and roses. 

According to the companies, the machine is the world’s first automated rose decorator. The robot features two color decorating heads/nozzles and quick tooling and nozzle changeover. With its built-in configuration flexibility, the same unit can do many designs and can decorate other products such as pies or cookies.
