PLEASANT PRAIRIE, WIS. - Good Foods announced that it is rolling out new packaging for its guacamole line timed to hit the shelves with the Cinco de Mayo holiday.

Good Foods decided to switch from photography-based packaging to an illustrated-focus design after research revealed consumers found it to be more reflective of fresh and natural products. The Earth-toned purple color was found to emulate fresh ingredients, so all new product packaging will have purple lids.

“As the guacamole category continues to grow, we knew our packaging needed an update for our brand to stand out,” said Maria Nakasone, brand manager at Good Foods. “We worked with a third-party agency to update the brand packaging to be more on trend and cohesive with other products, such as Good Foods’ plant-based dips.”
