Kretschmar Master's Cut awarded three sweepstakes winners and their guests the culinary experience of a lifetime. The grand prize winners won a three-day trip to Napa Valley, California, where they were given private cooking instruction from Kretschmar Certified Master Chef Brian Beland at The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) at Greystone. The sweepstakes was offered on behalf of its Kretschmar Master's Cut line of super-premium deli meats. The line features unique, culinary inspired flavors of turkey, ham and chicken that use only the highest quality cuts of meat.
"This is one of the most extraordinary promotions that Kretschmar Deli has ever hosted," said Michael Sargent, brand manager, Kretschmar Deli. "To experience all that Napa Valley has to offer, including private cooking instruction from a world class Certified Master Chef, truly made this an amazing opportunity for deli consumers. We hope that this experience has provided our winners with a lifetime of memories."
During the three days, the winners enjoyed fine dining, wine tasting and stunning landscapes that have made Napa Valley one of America's top destinations. The experience was highlighted by a first class cooking demonstration and personal instruction from Certified Master Chef Brian Beland at The CIA at Greystone. The CIA is renowned in culinary circles for its premier facilities and second-to-none education.
Chef Beland, who received his Certified Master Chef accreditation from the American Culinary Federation in 2010, gave an intimate, interactive demonstration with the winners that shared Certified Master Chef methods and showcased culinary trend-inspired dishes from around the world. A unique Kretschmar Master's Cut Santa Fe Turkey Tostada was among the dishes shared during his tutorial.
"Today was awesome, said one of the grand prize winners. "We got to meet some extraordinary chefs, including Kretschmar's Certified Master Chef Brian Beland. We learned lots of new things. They taught us a variety of cooking techniques and methods. We also learned about spices and seasonings, and how they complement certain ingredients. To be at this first class facility, and to cook hand in hand with the finest chefs around, that's pretty amazing."
