Trends in the supermarket perimeter will be the subject of an upcoming webinar co-sponsored by the Food Marketing Institute and market research firm IRI.
Set for 2 p.m. ET July 19, “IRI and FMI Top Trends in Fresh – New Consumerism and the Customization Continuum” will address a variety of topics related to fresh perimeter sales and marketing.
Topics will include:
How retailers are responding to the retail formats consumers want and the level of service they seek for their fresh food;
The impact that new entrants in the space are having on consumers’ food and retail choices;
How different types of food solutions are trending; and
Some ways in which food manufacturers can provide shoppers the customization they are increasingly seeking.
Speakers include Rick Stein, FMI’s vice president of fresh foods; Chris DuBois, IRI senior vice president; and Jonna Parker, principal in IRI’s Fresh Center of Excellence.
