CHICAGO — Grocery and foodservice packaging specialist Inno-Pak LLC highlighted its new line of environmentally-responsible molded fiber containers and lids at the 2018 National Restaurant Association Show.

The Simply Responsible line from Delaware, Ohio-based Inno-Pak features containers in unbleached white or natural brown made from annually renewable materials, Brian Masi, vice president of sales for the Northeast region, said at the show.

In addition to being more sustainable, the new products are more rigid, come in many more sizes than previous lines and feature condensation channels on their undersides to help keep foods dry, Masi said. Containers have a sidewell ridge design and are crush-resistant, easily stackable, customizable and safe for freezers and microwaves.

“We’ve had major traffic, people coming to see this line,” Masi said at the show.
