Award-winning cheeses made by Snowdonia Cheese Co. were used to make a wedding “cake” for England’s Prince Harry and his fiancée, Meghan Markle.

The five-tier “cake,” made from five of the company’s wax-wrapped cheeses, was presented to the couple Jan. 18 during their first official visit to Wales. The five cheeses included Black Bomber Extra Mature Cheddar, Red Storm Vintage Red Leicester, Beechwood, naturally smoked Cheddar and Green Thunder (a mature cheddar with garlic and green herbs).

Black Bomber has been voted Britain’s Best Cheese by a group of UK retailers three of the past four years.

Snowdonia cheeses are marketed in the U.S. by Elizabeth, N.J.-based Atalanta Corp.
