Wisconsin cheesemaker Emmi Roth received 12 awards at the 2017 World Cheese Awards in London.
Two of Monroe, Wisconsin-based Roth’s washed-rind, Alpine-style cheeses, Grand Cru Original and Grand Cru Reserve, took home a silver and two bronze medals, collectively. Both Roth’s Wisconsin-made cheeses and product the company imports from Switzerland won awards.
Other domestic winners included Roth’s Private Reserve and Roth Buttermilk Gorgonzola cheeses. Import winners include its Der scharfe Maxx and Kaltbach Le Gruyere AOP cheeses.
