Packaged potato salad sold at Hannaford Bros. Co. grocery stores is being recalled because of an undeclared allergen.

Scarborough, Maine-based Hannaford is recalling one lot of 16 oz containers of Palmyra, Pennsylvania-based A.S.K. Foods Inc.’s Taste of Inspirations Classic Red Skin Potato Salad, which may contain egg. Egg is not listed among the product’s ingredients.

The affected product was distributed to Hannaford stores in Maine, New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont. It has a sell-by date of Oct. 20 and the incorrect UPC code 25439 98422. The recall was instituted when it was discovered that product contained an ingredient and nutrition label from another product.

As of Oct. 13, no illnesses connected with the product had been reported.
