FOLSOM, CALIF. - The US Highbush Blueberry Council (USHBC) has announced the lineup of keynote speakers and a detailed program for the NABC/USHBC Spring Conference & Meetings, Boosting the Possibilities, set for March 16-19.  

The conference is free and entirely virtual. Participants can get some much-needed inspiration and tackle blueberry industry business online, according to the group. 

“USHBC is striving to be the global leader in programs and content used by the industry to grow the value of blueberries,” said Kasey Cronquist, president of USHBC. “Together, we’re boosting the possibilities, pushing the blueberry health halo and leading the way on growing consumption.” 

Keynote speakers include:  

  • Arjun Chakravarti, managing director and principal at COGKNITION Analytics. Chakravarti is a recognized thought leader in economic, marketing and organizational strategy, he’s been a leader in both the corporate and academic worlds, and he’s got a lot to share about consumer behavior.  

  • David Magaña, vice president and senior analyst for Rabobank’s RaboResearch Food & Agribusiness group. Magaña is responsible for covering and analyzing the U.S. and North American fresh fruit, vegetable and tree nut industries, and has a strong background in economic research and finance.  

  • Jimmy Panetta, member of Congress from California.
