MCALLEN, TEXAS – Fox Packaging has added an additional UTECO printing press to its facility to expand production capacity and help meet growing demand.

The UTECO press is a modern equipment solution that executes high print quality, quick job changes, and can run up to 10 colors, with 4-color process and Pantone colors.

“Expanding our manufacturing capacity is essential to meet growing customer demand and it also presents Fox Packaging with an opportunity to make fast turnaround on large print runs,” said Lucas Fox, director of operations.

Fox said that the new printer adds to their overall capacity as they strategically retire units that have served their lifetime. Integrating responsive machinery improves packaging operations through reduced waste rates and contributes to sustainable performance, which meets both retailer and consumer expectation for mindful manufacturing practices.

“This technology visually captures brands colors and messaging in a way that catches a consumer’s eye and builds brand recognition and loyalty,” said Victoria Lopez, a marketing official for Fox Packaging. “As a member of the Sustainable Packaging Coalition, we are an approved printer of the How2Recycle label, a program that highlights a universal recycling language on packaging to provide consistent recycling information.”
