GARNER, NC – Butterball donated 500,000 meals to The Food Banks of Central and Eastern North Carolina to help feed those impacted by coronavirus (COVID-19) where the company’s team members live and work.
“We’re hearing from our partner agencies every day how much the need has increased—especially for community members who have just lost jobs,” said Carter Crain, director of food partnerships for The Food Banks. “The support of Butterball, throughout the year and especially during times of crisis, means that people have consistent access to nutritious protein. We’re so incredibly thankful for their partnership.”
Butterball has longstanding relationship with The Food Banks, most previously donating 400 Butterball turkeys to families in need on Thanksgiving Day 2019.
