Angelic Bakehouse is telling consumers that they shouldn’t have to sacrifice carbs to maintain a healthy, well-rounded diet. The company announced BreadBod, a body-positive campaign that aims to dispel myths about carbs and inspire consumers to incorporate better-for-you carbs into a healthy lifestyle.
Angelic Bakehouse is advertising that its products are Non-GMO, vegan, kosher and allergen friendly—free of seven of the top eight allergen aside from wheat. The company’s newest campaign aims to tell consumers that healthy carbs are an important part of a balanced diet.
"The BreadBod campaign underscores the fact that there is no uniform version of what a healthy body looks or eats like," says Rebecca Coleman, founder of Something Massive, the creative agency behind the BreadBod campaign. "With fad diet followers on the offensive against carbs, we wanted to create an almost counter-culture campaign that celebrates real food and gives people permission to enjoy bread again."
