Kings Food Markets (Kings) announced a number of promotions in its operations, marketing and merchandising teams.

Kings promotions include:
Joseph Parisi has been promoted to vice president of operations, where he will oversee the day to day execution of the company’s strategic plan at store level, reporting to COO Rich Durante. A 35 year industry veteran, Parisi joined Kings in 1990 and has held several previous positions within the organization including senior director, area director, general store manager and assistant store manager. Parisi resides in Rockaway, NJ with his wife Gina and three children.
Karen Roche has been promoted to senior director of marketing reporting to President and CEO Judy Spires. Roche has used her diverse background in retail marketing, including direct mail, email, digital and social media experience as well as the oversight of customer relationship management (CRM), to help Kings Food Markets achieve several significant marketing and brand enhancement milestones this past year. Prior to joining Kings, Roche worked at The Children’s Place, where she was responsible for the growth and expansion of its private label credit card, loyalty marketing and gift card programs. Roche and her family reside in Mahwah, NJ.
Arthur Goncalves has been promoted to director of seafood sales and merchandising and will report to Vice President of Produce, Floral, Seafood and Meat Paul Kneeland. In his 17 years at Kings, Goncalves has held key positions in store operations, center store merchandising as well as engineering and maintenance. He most recently served as store development manager. Goncalves and his wife Paula reside in Andover, NJ with their two children.
Maryann Klejmont and Emilio Romeo, two extremely successful store managers, were also promoted to the position of area director. Klejmont, who managed the Morristown, NJ store, and Romeo, who managed the Short Hills, NJ store, collectively have over 30 years of progressive experience merchandising and operating stores of varying volumes and will report to Vice President of Operations Joseph Parisi.
