Tone It Up, a lifestyle brand geared toward helping women to live healthy, happy and confident lives, has launched a new line of protein powders and bars exclusively at Target Corp.
“We’re always looking for new ways to make living the Tone It Up lifestyle simple and convenient, and we wanted to make Tone It Up Nutrition products even more accessible for our community,” said Karena Dawn and Katrina Scott, co-founders of Tone It Up. “We asked the girls in our community where they wanted to see our products, and Target was the No. 1 answer.”
Ms. Dawn and Ms. Scott said all of the Tone It Up nutrition products are plant-based, gluten-free and non-bioengineered. The products also contain “real, clean ingredients that you can see and pronounce,” they said.
“Tone It Up Protein is so versatile,” Ms. Dawn and Ms. Scott said. “We use it to make post-workout smoothies, muffins, pancakes, waffles, cookies, brownies … the options are endless. We meal-prep muffins on Sundays and have them all week long. Protein pancakes and smoothies are our go-to breakfasts.
“Some of our favorite recipes are our blueberry fig smoothie, sweet bran muffins, peanut butter banana overnight oats, and chocolate donuts. They’re all so delicious. We always have the bars on hand, too — we keep them at our office and stash them in our purses and gym bags for a post-workout snack or afternoon pick-me-up.”
