In Supermarket Perimeter's March issue, we highlighted three innovative products that are new to the fresh perimeter. You can read this story and more in our digital issue here.

La Brea Bakery

La Brea Bakery has added a traditional New York Rye loaf to its artisan portfolio. The hearty bread is crafted on a foundation of wheat and rye flours, making for a moist, slightly dense interior, with a crispy crust. Caraway seeds, the aromatic hallmark of a classic rye loaf, are baked into the bread and sprinkled on top as a finishing touch.

D’Arrigo California

Under its Andy Boy brand, D’Arrigo California has launched a new premium product, baby gem lettuce. The company describes it as a “seamless blend of the best parts of romaine and butter lettuces, presenting the perfect combination of a dense and crunchy texture with a sweet and buttery taste.”

Gonnella Baking Company

Gonnella Baking Company has revealed new brioche buns for foodservice. The buns deliver the soft, rich, buttery flavor and texture of authentic brioche bread, and are certified Kosher, vegan-friendly and made in their sesame seed free facilities, according to the company.
