Late last year Whole Foods Market’s Trends Council unveiled its top 10 anticipated food trends for 2023 in the retailer’s eighth-annual Trends predictions.
During the fourth quarter of fiscal 2022, ended Dec. 31, the company took a $720 million impairment charge partially related to its physical Amazon Fresh and Amazon Go store formats.
According to The National Hot Dog and Sausage Council (NHDSC) and The Nielsen Company, 917 million pounds of hot dogs were sold at United States retail stores in 2022, adding up to more than $3 billion in retail sales.
