Giant Eagle said with the inclusion of its stores, more than 99% of DoorDash’s monthly consumers in the US have access to a grocery and convenience retailer.

with a 17.3% CPI increase, followed by dairy and related products at 20.5%.
The report highlighted that 54% of consumers try to eat more plant-based snacks, with 66% believing in the idea that “plant-based snacks are better for the future of our planet.”
A GlobalData survey found 46% of consumers said they were extremely concerned about the amount of processed food eaten in the plant-based meat, plant-based seafood and plant-based dairy alternatives categories.
Health has been one of the main drivers of demand for fresh meal kits at retail, said Tony Phi Dang, executive chef at Southern California retailer Gelson’s.
Smaller retailers may find it challenging to absorb the costs associated with compliance, potentially leading to consolidation in the industry or, in some cases, closures.
