AUSTIN, MINN. — Hormel Foods Corp. announced that it was named one of America’s Most Trustworthy Companies by Newsweek for the second year in a row.

Newsweek’s list of America’s Most Trustworthy Companies 2023 is the second annual report of company rankings based on consumer trust.

Through a collaboration with Statista, Newsweek reviewed 3,100 US-based companies with revenue over $500 million. A survey was sent to 25,000 Americans to ask about the companies’ customer treatment, career growth opportunities and investor interest.

Out of 45 food and beverage companies, Hormel ranked 15^th.

The company has previously gained recognition for its transparency, sustainability and corporate responsibility. It was named one of America’s Most Responsible Companies for a fourth consecutive year by Newsweek, one of the World’s Top Female-Friendly Companies by Forbes, and one of Barron’s 100 Most Sustainable Companies.

Fellow food company Perdue Farms recently announced its recognition as one of America’s Most Trustworthy Companies. Perdue ranked 16^th out of the food and beverage businesses.
