Bob’s Red Mill announces the availability of its new Gluten Free Organic Oats. The oats feature the same unique kiln-toasting method and careful handling as the company’s best-selling conventional gluten free oats, with the added benefit of being USDA certified organic.

“Our gluten-free consumers have always embraced our wholesome gluten free oats, but one thing we’ve repeatedly heard is that they wish there were an organic option,” said Bob Moore, founder, president and CEO of employee-owned Bob’s Red Mill.

The new Gluten Free Organic Oats are available to retailers in the following varieties:

Gluten Free Organic Steel Cut Oats (MSRP $6.69/24-oz. bag): Steel cut oats are simply whole grain oat groats that have been cut into small pieces on a steel burr mill. Also known as Irish oats or pinhead oats, steel cut oats make a chewy, full-bodied hot cereal.

Gluten Free Organic Thick Rolled Oats (MSRP $7.99/32-oz. bag): These extra chewy, freshly milled whole grain oats make a robust and satisfying hot cereal.

Gluten Free Organic Quick Rolled Oats (MSRP $7.99/32-oz. bag): Simply whole grain oats rolled extra thin so they cook extra quick.

Gluten Free Organic Old Fashioned Rolled Oats (MSRP $7.99/32-oz. bag): A favorite breakfast cereal, these whole grain oats are perfect for any occasion and also are great for gluten-free baking.

Gluten Free Organic Oats meet the strict requirements of the USDA’s National Organic Program. All USDA certified foods must be free of synthetic additives, such as pesticides, chemical fertilizers and dyes, and must not be processed using industrial solvents. The organic certification process involves close monitoring from start to finish, assuring the safest and highest quality products.

As with all of Bob’s Red Mill’s gluten free products, the Gluten Free Organic Oats also adhere to strict gluten free quality standards, including being produced in a 100% dedicated gluten free facility and being ELISA tested to verify gluten free integrity.

“We’ve heard from our many consumers in the gluten free community that while they certainly appreciate all of our gluten free efforts, they also want to incorporate 100% organic foods into their diets,” said Matthew Cox, vice president of marketing at Bob’s Red Mill. “We’re now thrilled to be meeting that demand with these certified organic versions of our best-selling gluten free oats.”
