DENVER – Seattle Fish Co. and Armand Agra on Nov. 2 announced the acquisition of specialty meat processor Lombardi Brothers Meats.

The family-owned Denver-based company has worked in the Rocky Mountains since 1947, distributing beef, pork, lamb and other proteins. Lombardi also operates a retail meat shop called The Ranch which started in 2020.

Current owners Victoria and Vance Phillips will work with Seattle Fish to support customers served in Colorado. Under the new ownership structure, Seattle Fish said that Lombardi would operate as an independent brand and given access to increased geography and additional customers to grow into new markets.

“Armand Agra’s investment in Lombardi Brothers Meats will allow us to expand our offerings, grow our influence in sustainability and industry leadership across a larger platform and lead a positive impact on a greater range of proteins,” said Seattle Fish Co. president and chief executive officer, Derek Figueroa. “We’re proud to say that our mission is to sustainably feed people, and now we can do so from the land and sea.”

Seattle Fish Co. said it expanded its Gourmet Provisions portfolio since 2015 to include proteins such as chicken and game meats, gourmet sauces, sausages/deli meats, beverages and much more.

“Since 1947, Lombardi Brothers Meats has built strong partnerships based on exceptional customer service, top quality product, and pride in our work,” said Victoria Philips, owner of Lombardi. “The investment by Armand Agra, a third-generation family-owned business with deep experience in meat, preserves the rich legacy of Lombardi Brothers Meats while providing the resources, collaboration, and scale to grow our brand.”

Seattle Fish Co. is a third-generation family-owned company based in Colorado, making fresh seafood available to the Rocky Mountain area. Armanda Agra, which part of the venture capital group Founders, has locations in Reno Nev., Carson City, Nev., and Seattle.
