ARLINGTON, VA. — FMI – The Food Industry Association will hold the last of its Top Trends in Fresh webinars this year on Nov. 9.
“The Value of Consumers in Fresh in 2022” will address three major aspects impacting grocery shoppers: affordability, accessibility, and product convenience.
“Inflation has impacted affordability; supply chain disruptions have affected accessibility; and fresh prepared foods and delivery services have influenced convenience,” according to FMI. “However, amidst the disruptions, shoppers have found many valuable solutions that can help prepare retailers and suppliers for 2023 and beyond.”
Speakers include Jonna Parker, principal, IRI’s Fresh Center of Excellence; Rick Stein, vice president of fresh foods, FMI; and Sally Lyons Watt, IRI’s executive vice president and practice leader, client insights.
