WATERLOO, WIS. – The newest product from Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese embodies the concept of cheese lovers, as the company announced the launch of its heart-shaped fresh mozzarella.

Produced at the Crave family farm in south-central Wisconsin, the mozzarella will be available year-round.

"We have so much fun creating unique dairy products for our customers, and the heart-shaped mozzarella is a first for us," said Debbie Crave, vice president of Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese. "We recently developed a chocolate mascarpone that is a top seller, and we think the heart-shaped mozzarella will be equally as popular. Anyone can come up with an idea, but it is the quality of our Holsteins and the nutritious feed which we grow on our land, along with the care and dedication of our cheesemakers, that makes our products award-winning."

The distinctively shaped mozzarella is packaged in brine and comes in 8 oz cups. The company recommends using it to top salads, add to a Caprese skewer or showcasing it on a charcuterie board.

Crave Brothers shared that it will sell the heart-shaped cheese online through its website, as well as at retailers such as Woodman's and Metcalfe's Market.

Based in Waterloo, Wis., the Crave farm and its cheesemaking business use 100% green power and are carbon-negative businesses.
