According to Food Cary, Hmart's first North Carolina location will open on Thursday, Dec. 22. The store, in Cary, NC, is the latest addition for the nationwide Korean grocery chain.
HMart announced more than a year ago that it was renovating an old Lowes Food location. It sits near an intersection that also includes a new Publix and a Harris Teeter location.
The 46,000 square foot space will include Kang Nam Town (a South Korean restaurant chain), a snack vendor, Korean style BBQ chicken, a full-service bakery, a Thai pantry and a ramen counter.
