BRISTOL BAY, ALASKA — Throughout July, more than 3,200 retailers have been promoting the Bristol Bay Seafood Association’s Bristol Bay Sockeye Salmon.
More than 75.27 million sockeye salmon were projected to travel through Bristol Bay as the fishing season peaked in early July.
Whole Foods Market has featured the story of Bristol Bay Sockeye Salmon online for customers to read; Kendall-Jackson/Jackson Family Wines has been sharing sockeye salmon recipes through QR codes on instore displays; and Harris Teeter Supermarkets, Inc. has utilized grocery store demos to promote the sockeye salmon.
Many other retailers have promoted the sockeye salmon through displays in stores and social media posts.
